Over the years, the company has weathered ownership changes and even a devastating fire in July 2020. A New Era: HTC Group Ltd. Acquires Yacht Club Trailers 

In October 2022, a new chapter began for Yacht Club Trailers when HTC Group Ltd., formed by Scott Harklau, Ben Harklau, Dustin Harklau, and Tanner Thompson, acquired the company. The acquisition was made possible through the collaboration of the principal owners of SH Distributing, all of whom are Humboldt County Iowa, natives. With this acquisition, their top priorities were clear: keep operations in Humboldt, enhance product development, forge new partnerships, and seize new opportunities for growth. 

Since the acquisition, Yacht Club Trailers has continued its proud tradition, producing nearly 1 million top-quality trailers for dealers across the nation.
