Highfield Boats to Launch New Velox 660 Jet RIB at the 2026 New York Boat Show

Highfield Boats, the leading brand of Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBS) in America, will unveil the latest model in its Velox jet RIB range on January 21st, opening day of the Discover Boating New York Boat Show, at 3 pm in Booth G35 at the Javits Center. The 22’1” Velox 660 is now the largest model in the series, which also includes the Velox 420 and Velox 560. The Velox range, featuring BRP’s Rotax jet engine series, is designed for families who enjoy pursuing action and adventure on local inland waters or along the coast.
The new Velox 660 comes with several Rotax power options up to a brawny 300 hp engine, delivering thrilling performance combined with the safety and stable ride of its sturdy tubes. The rugged aluminum hull will let owners beach the RIB on a sandbar with peace of mind.
The Velox 660 holds up to 12 passengers in a stylish on-deck seating arrangement that includes two rows of ergonomic, forward-facing seats for optimal comfort at speed, bow cockpit with forward seat and spacious sunpad, and a rear-facing bench for watching family members shred the wake or tube behind the boat. The standard helm station features a venturi windshield, steering wheel and plenty of room for a chartplotter. Top options for the Velox 660 include roll bar, state-of-the-art sound system with tower speakers, and custom trailer.
